Glenn Garland Glenn Garland, President
Glenn Garland, President, has extensive expertise in energy efficiency strategy, market transformation, and performance contracting. Glenn has been in the energy efficiency industry for 25 years, consulting with businesses, utilities, and government agencies at the international, federal, state, and local levels.

Glenn's experience includes managing the marketing, outreach, and implementation for a variety of the U.S. EPA's national ENERGY STAR® programs. This includes serving as the National Implementation Manager for the ENERGY STAR Buildings and Green Lights® Partnership and the ENERGY STAR HVAC Team. At the state and local level, Glenn developed and implemented strategies to promote the inventory and sale of residential lighting and appliance products with national retailers for the California Residential Lighting and Appliance Program. He was a co-creator of the Schools Conserving Resources (SCORESM) and CitySmartSM market transformation programs focused on providing energy efficiency support and implementation guidance to K-12 school districts and municipal governments in various states.

As Implementation Manager for ENERGY STAR Homes Programs for several large utilities, Glenn was responsible for the marketing and outreach to HERS raters, home builders, consumers and Realtors to educate them on the advantages of building, buying and selling ENERGY STAR labeled homes. In various states, Glenn has also worked closely with regulators to develop energy efficiency policies and rules that best promote efficiency programs across all market sectors. Glenn's experience in performance contracting included negotiating installation contracts with electrical and mechanical subcontractors and other equipment vendors, negotiating finance options for owners, evaluating risk, and allocating resources and prioritizing investments in energy efficient equipment.

Glenn holds a B.S. in Management and Marketing from Clemson University. He enjoys challenges in life as well as cycling, running, and traveling.
Jim Stimmel Jim Stimmel, Executive Vice President
Jim Stimmel, Executive Vice-President, has worked on a wide range of energy-related programs and projects over his long tenure in the energy efficiency industry. During his 29-year career he has founded and operated a mechanical contracting company specializing in high performance HVAC systems, geothermal and solar energy; managed hundreds of residential and commercial construction projects; taught hundreds of workshops; provided cutting edge lighting consulting and design; provided strategic management consulting on procurement and acquisitions; and provided support and guidance to numerous government, utility and non-profit energy efficiency and market transformation programs.

Among his most significant achievements, Jim assembled and managed a large team of energy professionals who provided program development, implementation and consulting support to the U.S. EPA's ENERGY STAR programs. He was directly involved in the development of ENERGY STAR initiatives from their inception in 1991, and over the next 12 years helped develop ENERGY STAR into the most effective national energy efficiency program and the most highly recognized symbol for energy efficiency in the nation. Jim also played a key role in creating the SCORE and CitySmart Programs, and currently leads school district and public officials through Energy Efficiency Master Planning Workshops to help them analyze their energy use, identify improvement opportunities, and implement industry best practices.

Jim holds a B.S. in Environmental Design from North Carolina State University. He is an avid photographer and enjoys travel and live music.
Dean Stanton-Hoyle Dale Stanton-Hoyle, Vice President of Engineering
Dale Stanton-Hoyle, Vice President - Engineering, has 29 years of experience in energy engineering. He has developed energy master plans for private clients, managed engineering support teams for U.S. EPA's Green Lights/ENERGY STAR Buildings Programs, and directed international energy-efficiency teams. He also has managed the design, construction, installation, and commissioning of numerous commercial and industrial projects.

Dale has provided program support for energy efficiency programs for various clients including the U.S. EPA, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), and the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA). This has included leading kickoff meetings for new partners to help them take advantage of technical and financial opportunities in their buildings; providing training to program partners on how to use benchmarking data and tools; and managing engineering teams that provided measurement, verification and evaluation services under critical peak load reduction programs. Dale also led all technical support aspects of the programs, including comprehensive inspections of completed projects, on-site measurement and verification to ensure that projected savings are realized, statistical analysis of energy and billing data, and a variety of energy engineering tasks.

In recent years, Dale has helped develop high-performance standards designed to help planners and designers make schools more energy-efficient, healthy, durable, and conducive to learning. For the New York Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS), Dale led a team that incorporated the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED criteria and CHPS criteria to develop a new guideline for the design of high performance schools in New York State. The development process included reviewing the best ideas developed by school designers around the country, including the CHPS materials from the Collaborative for High Performance Schools and MA-CHPS from the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, adapting these documents for New York State, and expanding several sections to more comprehensively address indoor environmental quality, operations and maintenance, and durability.

Dale holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and an M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Maryland. He enjoys travel, good wine, and donating his construction talents to help the less fortunate at home and abroad.
Victor Pisani Victor Pisani, Vice President of Programs
Vic Pisani, Vice President, has 16 years of experience in the energy and energy efficiency fields in both government and electric utility roles. Currently, Vic directs CLEAResult teams that are developing and implementing energy efficiency programs in the Texas, Rocky Mountain, Nevada and Southwest Regions. Vic's past experience includes managing the U.S. EPA's ENERGY STAR Buildings Retail Sector, which included development, recruitment, and program launch activities for major retailers throughout the nation. Vic also worked with the U.S. Landfill Methane Outreach Program, a government program that identified ways to recover methane gas from landfills and provide power to needing utilities.

At Exelon Corporation's Commonwealth Edison Company (ComEd), Vic served in an account management position where he built and maintained relationships with some of ComEd's largest revenue customers. He also held positions as a Senior Analyst and an Operations Manager where his responsibilities included managing long-range strategic initiatives, merger integration, department budgets and business plans, department process and procedure improvements, goal tracking, and emergent issues.

Vic holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. in Management & Strategy/Finance from Northwestern University. He is an Indy 500 fan and enjoys coin collecting.
David Dollihite David Dollihite, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development
David Dollihite was instrumental in the development of the City of Houston's Residential Energy Efficiency Program. This innovative program achieved more than 60 percent homeowner participation by neighborhood, with verified annual energy savings of more than 16 percent. The initiative also dramatically streamlined the work process approach, providing improved economies of scale and higher homeowner satisfaction rates than any other program to date.

During his 25-year career, David has led the acquisition of Residential Services Group by Direct Energy, launched a Texas utility's retail business and held general management, marketing, product management, energy supply management and service roles for Direct Energy, Reliant Energy, The Xerox Corporation, and Imperial Chemical Industries.

David holds a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University, is a graduate of The Management Program at Rice University and completed post graduate work in marketing at Harvard Business School.
Bill Streetman Bill Streetman, Vice President
Bill Streetman, Vice President, has 28 years of experience in the energy efficiency industry, working on a wide range of programs including energy efficiency/DSM, weatherization, low-income energy assistance, strategic load management, and load control across the residential and commercial spectrum.

Bill is particularly experienced in managing large-scale energy efficiency programs for utilities across America, directing business units as large as 300 field representatives and 150 office staff. Bill's implementation teams have conducted over a million residential and 10,000 commercial energy audits, and have weatherized over half a million homes. As a DOE certified residential energy audit trainer, Bill has trained and certified over 250 RCS energy auditors. One of his programs received the Presidential Medal of Honor for community service and another received an AGA Marketing award.

In addition to company staff, Bill has managed contractor-based networks on such programs as the Insulation Outreach Program (Detroit Edison), the Home Repair & Weatherization Program (Michigan Department of Social Services), the Furnace Replacement program of "House Calls" (Consumers Power) and LineBacker (FirstEnergy). Some of Bill's clients have included Consumers Power, Columbia Gas, Commonwealth Edison, Dayton Power & Light, Detroit Edison, FirstEnergy, the Illinois Energy Audit Association, Indianapolis Power & Light, Laclede Gas, the Michigan Department of Social Services, NYSEG, PECO, Peoples Gas, PSE&G, TXU, and Vectren Services. Bill has been active in the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) as a presenter, member of the Implementation Committee, and founder of the AESP Great Lakes regional chapter.

Bill holds a B.S. in Marketing & Finance from Franklin University. He enjoys biking, snow skiing, wine appreciation, and spending time at his lake house in upstate Michigan.
Tim Hardesty Tim Hardesty, Vice President
Tim Hardesty, Vice President, has 33 years of energy experience, specializing in the implementation of new energy efficiency programs across the United States.

Tim has led teams of more than 500 professional and field employees serving over 25 utilities from 17 offices. He has experience working with utilities, manufacturers, contractor networks, and community action agencies in order to help his clients achieve their efficiency objectives.

This experience includes serving as President of Arizona Energy Solutions, Chief Operating Officer of Cass River Enterprises, Senior Vice-President of A&C Enercom, and Vice President/Business Development of Competitive Resources, Inc. Currently, Tim is responsible for developing and delivering CLEAResult services to utility and government clients in Michigan and surrounding areas.
Daniel E. Merchant II Daniel E. Merchant II, Vice President of Client Relations
Dan Merchant, Vice President - Client Relations, has nearly 20 years of energy experience, specializing in client recruitment and retention. Currently, Dan organizes and coordinates CLEAResult's sales efforts, manages relationships with existing and prospective clients, and evaluates and facilitates strategic partnerships with complementary organizations.

Before joining the CLEAResult team, Dan was Senior Vice President of Member Relations at the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP). During his time there, he was responsible for recruiting, retaining, and servicing Group Members who provided the bulk of the association's revenue. Additionally, Dan was responsible for managing and selling sponsorships and exhibits at AESP's three annual conferences. He also coordinated, implemented and sold AESP's successful new industry training courses.

Dan holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University. He and his family have been active with the Ronald McDonald House Charities for more than 10 years in Burlington, VT and Corpus Christi and Galveston, TX.
Kristin Ungar Kristin Ungar, Chief Financial Officer
Kristin has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant, and her background includes financial reporting, planning and forecasting, as well as the management of information technology, legal and human resources departments.

Throughout her career, Kristin designed and implemented systems to effectively balance the demanding and complex needs of a variety of companies. Following a three-firm merger, she partnered with executives from the newly-formed worldwide professional services firm to shape operational strategy and served as the primary relationship manager for banking and lending issues. Additionally, Kristin developed and implemented a finance project review process to resolve client issues promptly, launched client-focused financial reports and developed a reporting system to more effectively support executive decision making.

A member of Financial Executives International (FEI), Kristin holds a B.S. degree from Alfred University and an M.B.A. from Chaminade University in Honolulu. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Donna Sykora Jerrel Gustafson, Director
Jerrel Gustafson has 24 years of experience managing utility conservation programs. He currently manages CLEAResult's River Region, which consists of energy efficiency program operations in Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. Jerrel's expertise in program management stems from a 22 year career at Austin Energy where he oversaw commercial, residential, demand response and renewable energy programs. Jerrel honed leadership skills while overseeing internal Austin Energy teams that developed new utility program initiatives and instituted process improvements to existing programs. Overseeing budgets of more than $22 million, Jerrel administered programs achieving immense peak demand savings and evaluated and proposed new energy saving programs and technologies.

Jerrel was head developer of Austin Energy's nationally-recognized Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Program , Power Partner Residential/Commercial Load Control Program, Cycle Saver Water Heater Timer Program, Pool Pump Rebate Program and ENERGY STAR® Lighting Program. While with the City of Austin, Jerrel contributed to the development of many natural gas appliance efficiency projects, including the Food Service Partnership Program, Commercial Water Heater/Boiler Rebate Program, and the Gas Combo-Heater (Hydronic Heating) Rebate Program for multi-family residential new construction.

As Director of the River Region, Jerrel is tasked with residential, commercial and industrial program design, implementation and management for several CLEAResult clients. Jerrel holds a B.B.A. in Business Management from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, where he was also a three year letterman baseball pitcher. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, salt water fishing, spending time with his Weimaraner "Roxy" and traveling with his wife.
Jonathan Kleinman Jonathan Kleinman, Director of Planning and Evaluation
Jonathan Kleinman is a Certified Energy Manager and LEED™ -Accredited Professional with ten years of experience in the energy industry and an additional five years of experience in environmental policy, planning, and implementation. Jonathan's background includes designing and implementing efficiency programs targeted at K-12 schools, universities, and large commercial and industrial customers. Jonathan has worked with customers and service providers, including architects, engineers, and contractors, on both individual projects and direct training. He has also worked with trade and governmental organizations that play major roles in these markets, providing training and working on policy to promote all aspects of demand-side management through energy efficiency, demand response, and distributed generation.

Jonathan has conducted a number of studies to assess the potential role of demand‐side management programs to serve as alternatives to transmission or generation projects in utility portfolios. He has worked on high performance design guides for Efficiency Vermont and Long Island Power Authority, New Buildings Institute's Core Performance Guide, and New England's Collaborative for High Performance Schools. Jonathan has also evaluated the cost‐effectiveness of high performance school construction by assessing the cash flow impact of bonding for increased construction costs against energy and non-energy savings.

Jonathan is one of the instructors for the AESP Principles of Demand-Side Management Course, and is certified by New Buildings Institute and AIA to provide training on Core Performance. He has provided a number of trainings on high performance design, meeting and beating energy codes, LEED, and a range of technical and policy issues.

Jonathan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.S. in Technology & Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He enjoys hiking, cooking, eating out, and spending time with his family.
Michele Negley Michele Negley, Senior Director, Texas Programs
Michele has over 20 years of experience ranging from utility engineering and marketing management to demand-side management (DSM) program implementation. A registered Professional Engineer and Certified Energy Manager, Michele has been responsible for business development and turnkey DSM implementation services for both C&I and residential DSM portfolios for several southwestern utilities.

Michele's background also includes building an energy services business for a utility subsidiary that provided customized and innovative energy information, design/build, and energy consulting services to the western US. She developed groundbreaking power quality standards as co-chairwoman of the SEMI Power Quality Task Force and built a team to provide on-site power quality consulting to commercial and industrial businesses.

Michele holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University. Michele, her husband and daughter have recently relocated to Austin, Texas and are enjoying exploring their new community.
Bobby Robertson Bobby Robertson, Program Director
Bobby Robertson, Program Director, has extensive experience in the energy efficiency industry. His background includes planning and executing market-based resource acquisition programs in order to secure energy savings, as well as recruiting major distributors, manufacturers, and retailers to drive such programs. Currently, he manages CLEAResult's renewable energy and energy efficiency programs in Nevada and develops new business in the surrounding region.

Before joining the CLEAResult team, Bobby directed the Nevada operations for Ecos Consulting. As Strategic Account Manager, Bobby was responsible for business development in the utility and private sectors. His work at Ecos also included program management for the ENERGY STAR Lighting and Appliances Program, which won a 2008 Excellence in ENERGY STAR Promotion award for its "Change a Light, Change the World" campaign.

Bobby holds a B.S. in International Business from Oral Roberts University and a M.B.A from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. Prior to entering the energy industry, he worked as a manager at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where he was responsible for celebrity clientele and ensuring guest satisfaction. He enjoys hiking, spending time with his son, and assisting with humanitarian efforts in Zambia.
Eric Stern Eric Stern, Program Director
Eric Stern, Program Director, has 10 years of professional and energy efficiency program implementation experience. His background includes developing and delivering a variety of utility DSM and state sponsored energy efficiency programs. Eric provides unique strategic insight and expertise for clients, having worked as a consultant on DSM programs in Texas and California, as a senior manager in the Governor of Colorado's Energy Office, and with a non-profit organization focused on energy efficiency outreach and education.

For the state of Colorado, Eric served as Senior Program Manager for Residential Buildings in the Governor's Energy Office, (GEO). There he led the design and implementation of the state's residential energy efficiency programs across all sectors, to include new construction, existing homes and low-income efforts. Eric launched Colorado's initial ENERGY STAR New Homes Program, which earned the GEO recognition from the EPA as the 2009 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year, and also created the Insulate Colorado program.

In California, Eric worked as a consultant and project manager in support of Pacific Gas and Electric's (PG &E) Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program. In this role, Eric helped to develop program tracking tools, customer outreach and marketing strategies, and contractor training and support resources. In Texas, Eric helped implement Oncor's ENERGY STAR New Homes program. In this role, he recruited more than 100 homebuilders into the program; developed a series of homebuilder, HERS Rater and REALTOR training programs; and helped create a $1 million cooperative marketing effort. Eric also provided support on a variety of Oncor DSM residential programs, such as the multifamily water heating and single family hard-to-reach pilots.

Eric holds a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), and an M.B.A. from the University of Denver. He is an avid tri-athlete, soccer player and mountain biker.
Ron Green Ron Green, Director of Industrial Services
Ron Green, Director of Industrial Services, has 25 years of experience using a systems approach to identify and implement technical and operational improvements to maintenance, energy, water, carbon and environmental management. Ron has worked with a wide range of multinational industries across three continents and a broad spectrum of commercial and industrial sectors, including mining and minerals, iron and steel, food and beverage, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, automotive, healthcare, education, government, and telecommunications. Ron has also worked with many utilities, such as TXU, PG&E (USA) and Austa Energy (Australia), Energex, Integral Energy, Western Power (Australia) and ESKOM (South Africa) to develop demand side management services for large industrial and commercial end users.

During the mid 1990's he held several senior energy management positions at one of Australia's premier energy and carbon management practices and assisted with the development of world class energy and environmental assessment tools purchased by the U.S. EPA and now widely used by organizations across the globe.

Ron is a published author and regarded as an international expert in developing corporate strategies and integrating the roll-out of individual site action plans using methodologies that optimize site performance and allow sites to control greenhouse risk, while maximizing opportunities arising from the expanding carbon market.

Over the past ten years, Ron has founded and successfully launched several energy and carbon management practices focusing on management strategy and implementation services using a proven roadmap and implementation methodology. Implementation services have included lighting, HVAC, alternative energy, wireless sub-metering solutions and process improvements.

Ron holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Natal (now KwaZulu), South Africa and a Business Management qualification from the University of South Africa (UNISA). He registered as a Professional Engineer in South Africa in 1991 and has been a LEED accredited professional since 2004.

In his spare time, Ron enjoys, cycling, kayaking, marathon running, fishing, diving and international travel.

Bill Younger Bill Younger, Director of Commercial and Industrial Programs
Bill Younger, Director, has over 25 years of experience in the development and administration of energy efficiency programs for utilities and state energy offices. He has provided training and technical support for a wide range of demand side management projects, utility tracking software programs, and web-based energy interval data presentment systems.

Prior to joining CLEAResult, Bill was the Manager of Business Energy Management for Puget Sound Energy (PSE) where he managed energy efficiency programs for commercial and industrial customers. As an energy specialist for the Washington State Energy Office and the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, he managed educational outreach programs and conservation retrofit grant programs, and implemented monitoring procedures to evaluate post-retrofit performance of energy efficiency projects in commercial and institutional buildings. He was a principal architect of the first series of seminars, exams and projects for the Building Operator Certification (BOC) program, which is now a nationally recognized training and certification program for commercial building operators.

Bill is a nationally recognized energy management instructor and author, and was inducted into the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Energy Managers Hall of Fame in 2007. He is a Certified Energy Manager and currently serves on the national board of directors for AEE. Bill enjoys gourmet coffee and collects vintage Pez dispensers.
Donna Sykora Donna Sykora, Michigan Director of Operations
Donna has over 12 years of experience in the energy field, including strategic planning, creation and implementation of annual budgets, customer service, labor relations, human resources, contract negotiations and management, and regulatory compliance at the federal, state and local levels.

Prior to joining CLEAResult, Donna managed the overall operations, strategic planning, design, administration and delivery of energy efficiency programs for utilities in five states and other territories. For 10 years she served as the primary contact for builders and developers in new business, residential and commercial sales for Wisconsin and Michigan with Xcel Energy.

Active in numerous organizations such as the Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, WI Energy Star Homes Advisory Board and Marketing Professionals International, Donna holds an M.B.A. and B.A. from Lakeland College. Donna enjoys traveling, spending time with her dog Lucey, and Skypeing with her grandchildren.
