Frequently asked questions
Black Hills Energy offers Colorado commercial and industrial customers rebates for some of the most commonly installed efficiency projects. If the contractor provided a qualifying Black Hills Energy CO C&I customer an “instant rebate” when invoiced, the Registered Contractor is eligible to receive the rebate.
If the Black Hills Energy Colorado CO C&I customer did not receive an “instant rebate” from the Registered Contractor providing the purchase and installation of the eligible equipment, the rebate is provided to the customer.

Black Hills Energy supports a network of trade allies who participate in any commercial programs. A contractor is not required to become a trade ally in order to participate in Black Hills programs, but joining the trade ally network does carry benefits. For contractors that are not yet approved, please proceed here to become a registered trade ally and submit all requested details and documentation.
