As a participating contractor, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Offer your customers up to $5,000 in cash rebates for energy efficient upgrades.
  • Be listed on the BayREN "Find a Contractor" web tool.
  • Marketing and outreach by local governments on your behalf.  
  • Have access to multiple programs and resources

 

Follow these steps to become a participating contractor:

Registration

Complete and submit your online Participating Contractor application. Once completed and submitted, you will receive an email with a link to authenticate your account. Please note, this link will only be active for 24 hours.

Submit Paperwork

Once you've completed your application, email the following documents to [email protected] : W9, Insurance certificates (General liability, Auto, Worker's comp) COVID-19 Safety Acknowledgement, Subcontractor Consent Form(s). Click the link below for reference.

Attend Required Trainings

There are 5 required trainings to complete before becoming a participating contractor. These free trainings are on-demand and web-based. The trainings are: Home+ Program and Handbook, Home+ Portal and Documents, Home Performance and Best Practices, Photo QC, and COVID Safety.
