Safe disposal practices

Appliances may contain chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) or hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), which are ozone-depleting chemicals and potent greenhouse gases that pose a significant risk to the environment. Older appliances could also contain hazardous materials like mercury, lead, and cadmium that can cause long-term damage to ecosystems and wildlife if allowed to leach into the environment. Our programs transport old appliances to regional, CLEAResult-operated RAD recycling facilities, which use the best environmental practices and technologies available to ensure safe disposal.   

Smooth customer experience

Centralized customer and facility services provide a positive, stress-free experience by taking care of the entire process from pick-up to disposal and rebate processing. Customers are able to book an appointment for pick-up right from their doorstep, through our Contact Center team, online or via a mobile app.
