Powering progress together: a look back at the first half of 2026
Powering progress together: a look back at the first half of 2026
From coast to coast, CLEAResult hit the ground running in 2026—connecting with clients, partners, and industry leaders at industry conferences and events. Each stop created space for meaningful conversations and forward-thinking solutions, shaping a more efficient, flexible energy future.
January–February: Building Momentum Across the Midwest and Beyond
We kicked off the year at the MEEA Midwest Energy Solutions Conference (MES) in Chicago, reconnecting with partners and engaging in conversations around energy efficiency, evolving policy, and regional collaboration. The event setthe tone for exploring new ways to deliver impactful, tailored solutions to communities with diverse energy needs.
Shortly after, we joined PLMA and SECC for a joint symposium focused on DERs and customer engagement, where conversations highlighted the growing role of distributed energy resources and load flexibility in supporting grid reliability, and the importance of customer-centric strategies to drive adoption.
We closed out February at the AESP Annual Conference in San Diego, where discussions centered on accessibility, affordability, and the future of clean energy. From thought leadership sessions to community engagement initiatives, the event reinforced the power of connection in advancing industry progress.
March: Expanding Perspectives and Partnerships
We headed to Atlanta for the Technology & Market Assessment Forum (TMAF). This event brought together utility leaders to explore emerging technologies and strategies shaping the future of energy.
As first-time participants, we were inspired by the collaboration and shared commitment to innovation, reinforcing the value of strong partnerships across the industry.
April: Advancing Home Performance and Community Impact
April took us to the National Home Performance Conference (NHPC ’26) in Columbus, Ohio where discussions focused on electrification, healthy homes, and community-driven energy solutions.
From booth conversations to expert-led sessions, NHPC showcased how efficiency programs and building performance improvements can deliver measurable, real-world impact. It was a powerful reminder that innovation happens not just through technology, but through people and partnerships.
May: Driving Grid Flexibility and Innovation
In May, we were proud to sponsor and participate in the PLMA Spring Conference in Indianapolis, connecting with leaders advancing load flexibility and the energy transition.
From speaker sessions on integrating demand response and energy efficiency to conversations about EV managed charging and virtual power plants, the event highlighted the critical role of flexible load in building a more resilient and affordable grid.
June: Scaling Sustainable Solutions
We wrapped up the first half of the year at Trellis Impact 2026, a collaborative forum focused on accelerating decarbonization and scaling practical solutions.
Our session on reducing energy waste in industrial buildings emphasized a key theme we’ve seen all year: meaningful progress doesn’t always require complex technology—operational improvements, and smart energy management can drive immediate results.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on the first half of 2026, one thing is clear: progress is powered by collaboration. Each event reinforced the importance of bringing together diverse perspectives to solve today’s most pressing energy challenges.
